Saturdays at 10:00am – April 23rd, April 30th, May 7th, May 14th, May 21st, June 4th, June 11th, June 18th and June 2th.
Participants will be exposed to the fundamental movements and elements of capoeira including learning about the history and culture of the art form. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, dance, acrobatics, and dance developed by Enslaved Africans and Indigenous peoples. This unique art form is the only martial art where men, women, and children compete together to rhythmic sounds.
